Broodmares
The mares at Bluebird Farm & Horse Ranch have had a performance career and are exceptional trail horses. Though they are now producing babies, it does not mean their riding days are over. It is very important to expose foals to a variety of situations and circumstances and the best way to do that is to ride the mare and take the baby along. This produces a very well socialized and dependable young horse that greets diverse environments and situations with willingness and dependability.
Bluebird Farm & Horse Ranch has many opportunities to day trip, camp, and hunt in the surrounding north Idaho and western Montana area. All horses have many such expeditions throughout the summer, autumn and early winter with an assortment of riders. This assures the potential buyer that all horses of Bluebird Farm & Horse Ranch are of quality temperament, proven to be sound, field-tested athletic, halter broke, willingly trailer load, and are generally well socialized.
